Take a break from the grill and make this quick and easy chicken kabobs in your air fryer in less than 15 minutes. It is so good, you would think it was grilled! This recipe makes a great appetizer or a healthy dinner the whole family would love.
1lbboneless skinless chicken breast cut into bite sizes piecesabout 2 chicken breasts
⅓cupsweet chili sauce
½tbspHerbs de Provence
1tspsmoked paprika
½tspred pepper flakes
2tbspvegetable oil
1tspgarlic granules
Salt and black pepper to taste
3Bell peppers cut into big chunks
1Zucchini chopped into big chunks
1large Onion chopped into big chunksi used red onion
Instructions
To a large mixing bowl, combine chicken pieces, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes and mix to combine.
Add chopped bell peppers, chopped zucchini, onions, smoked paprika, herb de Provence, sweet chilli sauce, vegetable oil and mix all to combine.
Cover the bowl with a plastic wrap/cling film and marinate for at least 30 minutes or longer if time is not of the essence.
When you are ready to cook, thread the marinated chicken and vegetables on the skewer, repeat the process until all is exhausted.
Preheat the air fryer at 200C/400F for 5 minutes then spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil
Arrange the chicken skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer making sure it is not overcrowded (you may have to cook the chicken in batches). Cook at 400F/200C for 10 minutes or until fully cooked and the chicken is no longer white when cut into. carefully flipping the kabob halfway through.PS: The internal temperature of cooked chicken should read 165F/73C when checked with an instant read or meat thermometer.

Hot grill or griddle pan instructions Tread the marinated cubed chicken and vegetables into a skewer and cook on a hot grill or griddle pan flipping every 2 to 3 minutes until cooked through.Tips
If you want a grill mark on your chicken skewers then place an air fryer rack/trivet inside the air fryer basket before cooking.
