Sweet Chili Mayo Recipe

Sweet chili mayo is a delicious and versatile dipping sauce for fries, burgers, chips, onion rings and much more. It is creamy, sweet with a little bit of kick from the chili.

Ingredients
  

  • ¾ cup mayonnaise you can use full fat or low fat mayonnaise.
  • ½ cup sweet chili sauce
  • cup sour cream full fat or low fat would work in this recipe
  • Salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • To a mixing bowl, add mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sour cream, salt and pepper and whisk to combine.
    Cover with a cling film or plastic bag and place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes for the flavours to develop. You can use it immediately if time is of the essence.

Notes

Tips
  • If the sauce is too thick, you can add a splash of water to lighten it. Taste and adjust seasoning according to preference.
  • This recipe is just a guideline, feel free to swap things around to suit you. If you like more sweet chili in your dip then by all means add as much as you need.
  • Add freshly squeezed lime or lemon juice for a bit of zingy taste.
