Oven instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 180C / 360F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Pat the whole wings dry with a kitchen paper towel and transfer to a large bowl.
  • Add all the seasoning ingredients to the wings and mix well to combine, making sure each wing is evenly covered in the seasoning.
  • Arrange your seasoned chicken wings in your tray in a single layer, making sure the wings don’t overlap.
  • Bake in the oven at 180C / 360F for 15 minutes flip the wings, increase the temperature and continue to cook for another 10-15 minutes at 200C/400F or until golden with crispy skin, and cooked through.

  • Add more cooking time than specified in this recipe if the wings are not crispy enough to your liking.
  • Don’t go crazy on seasoning, less is more! Instead, get creative on your dips and sauces and sides!
  • Never overcrowd the basket or baking tray to avoid the chicken wings steaming. Keep a single even layer with some space between the wings to get them as crispy as possible.
  • Make sure the chicken wings are as dry as possible before seasoning, this way the spices get a chance to stick, and the skin gets crispy.
