Baked avocado egg! If you love low carb breakfast without a fuss then you will love this air fryer avocado egg recipe. You only need 4 ingredients and less than 10 minutes to make this delicious healthy, keto-friendly breakfast.
Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit and scoop out some of the flesh into a bowl to make enough well to fit the egg.
Place the avocado halves into a small baking dish that is will fit into your air fryer basket, season the cavity of the avocado with salt if you desire.
Gently crack an egg into each avocado well and season with salt and black pepper according to taste.
Air fry the avocado egg at 160C/320F for 6-8 minutes until the egg white is fully set and the yolk is cooked. If you want the yolk a little runnier then cook for about 6 minutes.
Sprinkle with chopped dill and serve immediately with the remaining scooped avoacado flesh, enjoy!
Oven instructions
If you don't have an air fryer, you can bake the avocado eggs in the oven at 200C/400F for about 10-15 minutes.
