Air Fryer Shake and Bake Chicken Breast

This air fryer shake-and-bake chicken tastes incredible and packs a flavor punch you won’t forget in a hurry simply. Juicy and tender chicken that is crispy and cruncy on the outside. This recipe uses chicken breast but you can use any cut of chicken you prefer.

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400F/ 200C for 5 minutes
  • In the meantime, pat chicken breast dry with a kitchen paper towel then brush with avocado oil (or your preferred oil of choice)
  • Cut a packet of Shake n bake open and empty it into a freezer bag.
  • Add the oiled chicken breasts to the seasoned breadcrumbs in the freezer bag, seal the bag and give it a good shake until the chicken is well coated in the crumb mix.
  • Spray the air fryer basket with oil spray and carefully place the seasoned chicken breast in it and spray the top of the chicken lightly with oil.
  • Cook the chicken for 16-18 minutes flipping it halfway through the cooking time or until the internal temperature reaches 165F/74C
  • Remove the chicken from the air fryer basket, place it on a plate, and rest it for at least 5 minutes before serving or slicing it.
  • Garnish the chicken with freshly chopped parsley, and enjoy
