This air fryer shake-and-bake chicken tastes incredible and packs a flavor punch you won’t forget in a hurry simply. Juicy and tender chicken that is crispy and cruncy on the outside. This recipe uses chicken breast but you can use any cut of chicken you prefer.
1Tablespoonsavocado oil substitute with any other cooking oil of choice
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 400F/ 200C for 5 minutes
In the meantime, pat chicken breast dry with a kitchen paper towel then brush with avocado oil (or your preferred oil of choice)
Cut a packet of Shake n bake open and empty it into a freezer bag.
Add the oiled chicken breasts to the seasoned breadcrumbs in the freezer bag, seal the bag and give it a good shake until the chicken is well coated in the crumb mix.
Spray the air fryer basket with oil spray and carefully place the seasoned chicken breast in it and spray the top of the chicken lightly with oil.
Cook the chicken for 16-18 minutes flipping it halfway through the cooking time or until the internal temperature reaches 165F/74C
Remove the chicken from the air fryer basket, place it on a plate, and rest it for at least 5 minutes before serving or slicing it.
Garnish the chicken with freshly chopped parsley, and enjoy
