This crispy boneless chicken thighs in the air fryer recipe is a total game changer. With perfectly crispy skin on the outside and irresistibly juicy meat on the inside, this recipe delivers bold flavor and texture in every bite. The best part? It’s ready to serve in just 25 minutes. Let me show you how to do it.
Preheat the air fryer to 400F/200C for 3-5 minutes
In a small bowl, add ginger, cumin, hot paprika, onion granules, garlic granules and mix to combine. Divide the seasoning mix into 2 portions, and add baking powder to one portion. Mix to combine, and set aside.
Arrange the chicken on a plate, skin side down and season with salt and black pepper. Sprinkle half of the seasoning on the chicken and rub it all over it. Flip the chicken, season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with the remaining seasoning (with the baking powder). Pat down with your fingers so it adheres properly to the chicken.
Place the chicken thighs in the air fryer basket in a single layer, skin side down and spray them lightly with cooking oil. Air fry for 20-22 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until the internal temperature reaches 165F/74C.
Transfer the cooked chicken thighs to a plate and rest for a few minutes before slicing so that the juice can redistribute back into the chicken.
Garnish with chopped fresh herbs for freshness. Enjoy!
