    Baked avocado eggs in the air fryer

    Air fryer baked eggs avocado is a great breakfast to have on the go or when you are short on time. It is simple, yet filling and satisfying plus, it is a great way to add some healthy fats to your breakfast.

    The avocado gives the egg a creamy, rich texture and a delicious light flavor you will love. I have kept the ingredients used in making this recipe simple, however, you can season it however you want. I just like salt and pepper on my eggs, you can top the eggs and avocado however you like. Let me show you how to make it in easy steps.

    How to make Air fryer baked avocado eggs

    Preheat your air fryer to 160C/320F.

    Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit and scoop out some of the flesh into a bowl to make enough well to fit the egg.

    Place the avocado halves into a small baking dish that is will fit into your air fryer basket, season the cavity of the avocado with salt if you desire.

    Gently crack an egg into each avocado well and season with salt and black pepper according to taste.

    Air fry the avocado egg at 160C/320F for 6-8 minutes until the egg white is fuly set and the yolk cooked. If you want the yolk a little runnier then cook for about 6 minutes.

    Sprinkle with chopped dill and serve immediately, enjoy!

    Air fryer baked avocado eggs variations

    Apart from salt and pepper, you can top the baked eggs avocado with crumbled bacon, crumbled feta cheese, cherry tomatoes, chives, green onions, cheddar cheese, chopped bell pepper, and more. That said the sky is the limit, you can top these delicious air-fried avocado eggs with whatever you want, salad included.

    Tips

    • Use big avocados so that will accommodate the eggs or use small or medium sized eggs.
    • If the avocado halves aren't sitting right in the baking dish, slice off some of the skin at the bottom without getting to the flesh.
    • Use a baking dish in the air fryer to help catch the egg white in case it spills (which would likely happen), mess-free and easy cleanup.
    • If you don't have an air fryer, you can bake the avocado eggs in the oven at 200C/400F for about 10-15 minutes.
