    Tips

    • Make sure you time the cooking of the eggs correctly so that you don't end up with rubbery or overcooked eggs.
    • Make sure to use a non-stick pan for the eggs so that it slides off easily. You can also use a silicone spatula for flipping.
    • If you do not have a mini cast iron frying pan, you can use an aluminum baking sheet that will fit in your air fryer basket. Just spray it with cooking oil or butter before adding the eggs.
    • If you prefer your eggs to be lacy and crispy on the edges then use a wide oven-safe pan as that will allow the eggs to spread out enough to achieve the desired doneness and don't overcrowd the pan.
    • Make sure the pan and oil are preheated before cooking for a few minutes to ensure good results.
    • The eggs will continue to cook a little even after you have taken them out of the air fryer, so keep that in mind. Also, remove the eggs immediately from the air fryer as the residual heat in the air fryer can overcook the eggs and make them rubbery.

    FAQS

Don't have a mini cast iron pan can I use aluminum foil

You can use aluminum foil if you don't have a mini cast iron pan, make a little bowl with the foil, and don't forget to spray it well so that the egg doesn't stick. Be careful when removing the foil from the air fryer as it would be very hot

Can I make more than 2 eggs at a time?

Yes, you can make more than 2 eggs at a time as long as the container you are using fits into the air fryer basket.

Can I use butter instead of olive oil

You can use butter instead of olive oil or any other flavorless oil you want, but I would recommend using olive oil because it has a higher smoke point than butter and therefore is less likely to burn.

Is air fryer fried eggs healthy?

Yes, air fryer fried eggs are a healthy breakfast option. They are cooked without any excess oils or fats and they are a good source of protein.

    What is over easy eggs

Over easy eggs are eggs that have been cooked on both sides, i.e flipped, but the yolk is still runny and the whites are cooked through.

What is a sunny side up egg

A sunny side up egg is an egg that has been cooked unflipped so that the yolk is still runny and the egg white set.

This looks good. What size is your cast iron skillet. I have a small one but not sure two of it would fit.

Thank you K, I am not exactly sure but it shouldn't be more than 12cm as that fits 1 egg perfectly.
