What does feta dip taste like?
The main ingredient in this homemade dip is feta cheese and it’s a well-bodied cheese. It is rich, creamy, salty, tangy yet delicious. It of Greek origin and made from sheep’s milk.
It comes in form of a block or sometimes crumbled, both can be used for today’s recipe.
Feta cheese is not for everyone but I can promise you if you follow this dip recipe to the letter, it will fly off the table before you can say, Jack Robison.

Yes, feta dip can be made 2 to 3 days in advance. Store it in an airtight container and bring it out of the fridge a few minutes before serving so it comes to room temperature. Stir together with a hand whisk for a creamy consistency.

Dried dill: fresh dill can be used too, I didn’t have any on hand when I made this dip.
Mayonnaise: you can use full fat or lite mayonnaise
Lemon zest: This is optional but I love to add this as it complements the cheese
Honey: this is an unusual addition to this recipe but trust me on this one, you only need a little to counter the tanginess of the feta cheese
Salt and pepper
Garlicky: because garlic makes everything better
Spicy: add any spices of choice
Peppery/hot: Add fresh or dried jalapeno or scotch bonnet chilli for a fiery taste.
Herby: add dried herbs of choice from oregano, marjoram or the likes
